What is Gallstones?

Gallstones are small stones and also called (Cholelithiasis). Most gallstones are made up of cholesterol. This originated from gallbladder which stores and releases bile carrying cholesterol and bilirubin potentially forming gallstones.

Pregnancy
Diabetes
Losing weight quickly in short time
Blood disorders such as hemolytic anemia
Lack of exercise and physical activity

If you have any symptoms of acute pain that bothers you, make an appointment with your doctor to examine the cause. If you have serious complications such as intense pain in your belly, skin and eyes turning yellow (jaundice), or high fever, seek medical care immediately.

Gallstones often do not cause any apparent symptoms and usually found accidentally with health screening except when gallstones were trapped in a duct, it could trigger result in acute symptoms:

Nausea or vomiting
