Excellent IVF Center

Medical Center for Childbirth, Thonburi Hospital, Bumrunmueang
We are committed to providing comprehensive infertility treatment services. By applying assisted reproductive technology and modern IVF procedures for safe and healthy pregnancies such as treatment planning, personalized egg stimulation, assisted in vitro fertilization (IVF) technology, healthy sperm selection injected into specific egg cells using ICSI or PIEZO – ICSI technology, embryo genetic diagnosis before moving back into the uterine cavity. (PGT), 23 pairs of embryo chromosome diagnostic tests (PGT-A), gene level aberration analysis (PGT-M), egg-sperm-embryo freezing, and thawing frozen embryos to move back into the uterine cavity, etc.
With a team of doctors, scientists and nurses. Experts in reproductive medicine, as well as well-equipped laboratories and state-of-the-art technology. This makes us one of the providers of treatment services.
With expertise in various treatment services, the hospital is ready to provide continuous consultation and care from antenatal care to childbirth.
Genetics Laboratory
We provide the most advanced technology “Next Generation Sequencing” for preimplantation genetic testing of embryos (PGT) to assist in selection. The best embryos for transfer
Sperm Analysis and Preparation Laboratory
- Semen analysis (SA) : Sperm Analysis. It is a test to see the quantity, quality, and shape of sperm to analyze the cause of male infertility.
- Computer-assisted sperm analysis (CASA) Through a microscope with high clarity to capture sperm, especially measuring sperm movement and sperm shape. This makes the sperm analysis results more accurate.
- Sperm DNA Fragmentation: Sperm DNA integrity can be detected using the Sperm chromatin dispersion test technique with the Halosperm G2 test kit.
- Sperm MACs: Sperm selection using MACS, which is a method that has a positive effect on sperm selection, can be separated from normal sperm with partial cell death (Apoptotic Spermatozoa) to obtain good quality sperm such as motility, viability, and morphology. As a result, it increases the pregnancy rate.
- pICSI Dish: The strongest sperm selection technology in patients with unhealthy sperm or sperm with broken, incomplete DNA, using the pICSI Dish to be used in IVF or ICSI procedures.
- Double-Washing Sperm: Sperm Preparation Techniques to Reduce the Risk of Transmission in Male Spouses who are hepatitis A, B, C, or HIV who want to have children.
- Sperm freezing: Sperm freezing is a way for men to store sperm or sperm for future use. This is a service for men who are unable to collect semen on the same day as the egg collection, or need to undergo certain treatments with radiation, or men who want to undergo sterilization and other medical treatments, including treatments for various types of cancer that may adversely affect the quality of sperm, which is why men may choose to freeze sperm before receiving treatment by freezing sperm in liquid nitrogen at a temperature of -196 C, which can be stored for more than 10 years.
Embryo Culture Laboratory
- IVF (In Vitro Fertilization): Extracorporeal fertilization or IVF is the combination of eggs and sperm to produce in vitro fertilization in the laboratory. Then the fertilized eggs (embryos) are taken. Transplanted back into the woman’s uterus to continue the pregnancy.
- ICSI (Intracytoplasmic sperm injection): A method of selecting only one of the best and strongest sperm cells and injecting them into an adult egg. The method of selecting the strongest sperm is through a single-cell microscopic method and injected into an adult egg. To achieve direct specific fertilization.
- IMSI (Intracytoplasmic Morphologically Selected Sperm Injection): A technique that uses a high-power microscope from 6,000 to 12,000 to select the best-looking sperm with the least fracture to fertilize an egg cell.
- Piezo ICSI: a technique that reduces the damage of egg cells during sperm injection. Using the right vibration to penetrate the eggs. Instead of using conventional ICSI pointed needles. This method is suitable for patients with fragile eggshells. Improves fertilization rate
- IVM (In Vitro Maturation of oocytes): A technique that assists in fertility by taking a woman’s immature eggs and raising them in a laboratory until the eggs are mature before being mixed with sperm cells until they are completely fertilized.
- Oosight Mieotic Imaging System: A technology to examine the Meitotic Spindle in egg cells using a polarized light microscope that can evaluate which eggs are intact and have a better chance of successful fertilization without damaging the egg cells.
- Assisted hatching: Assisted hatching technique is a method of thinning the larval shell or having an open hole to help the embryo hatch out of the shell easily and increase the chances of embryo implantation.
- Oocyte freezing: Egg freezing or egg depositing is a process that involves using cold to preserve female germ cells, the egg, to fertilize sperm outside the body. By relying on assisted reproductive technology at the right time.
- Embryo freezing (or embryo cryopreservation): A technique to maintain the quality of the embryo in its original condition. For future fertility by stopping cell function. By lowering the temperature of the cells to a temperature called sub-zero temperature, cryoprotective additives are used to prevent damage inside the cells that may be caused by cold, and then stored in liquid nitrogen at a temperature of -196 degrees Celsius.
- Embryo Glue: A solution that is used to supplement the embryo culture before transferring the embryo into the uterine cavity. This solution contains Hyaluronan, which helps to implant the embryo and increase the pregnancy rate.

Both sperm can be frozen from semen and from PESA/TESE.
