Otoplasty or cosmetic ear surgery is used to change appearance of your ears including its shape, position or proportion of the ear. This procedure can be done in any age with full size developed mostly after 5 years old and usually done to correct ears sticking out (bat ears) or proportionally large compared to your head. This procedure does not affect the position of your ears and ability to hear and aims toward the symmetric appearance of the ears. Otoplasty is usually done as an Out-Patient surgery.
