What is inguinal hernia?
An inguinal hernia is a condition when internal part of your body such as intestine pushes through a weak spot of your muscle. This can either result in pain when lifting heavy objects and bending over or no pain at all. Inguinal hernia is a condition that does not improve on its own and may lead to life-threatening complications later on.

If you see the hernia bulge turning red, purple, or dark, you may be at risk for inguinal hernia strangulation which is a life-threatening complication.
